I made the broccoli/cheddar skillet flan and the strawberry shortcake last weekend and both turned out wonderfully. I also found that the shortcake biscuits freeze very well — mine weren’t even 100% cool when I packaged them up, which probably breaks some rule, but after two minutes defrosting in the microwave it’s like they’re just out of the oven again. Maybe this will help those who want to plan dessert ahead.
